Ryan outdid himself this year for Mother's Day. I had a night away at the Sparkling Hills Resort with my friend. All I can say is that I could live there and look forward to this becoming a yearly event (hint, hint). :) I also got a new canoe as a Mother's Day gift.
Me being super classy with Greta's Barbie overnight case.
For Father's Day Ryan got a road bike and a Thule for our canoe.
Then he got to spend some time mountain biking with a buddy.
Sunday morning Ryan got exactly what he ordered for breakfast... Frittata, orange juice, yogurt and cantaloupe....the grapefruit was an added bonus.
For dinner we had all the local family over. I prepped these beautiful roasts but unfortunately overcooked them by accident. Oh well! One bacon wrapped. The other one I finished on the BBQ with a Root Beer BBQ Sauce.
The final spread... love potluck style dinners.
Ardie, Mom and I had gone out earlier in the week to purchase a collaborated gift for Dad. He was in desperate need of some new casual clothes. We threw in a fishing rod, fishing license and swiss army knife to make it a little more fun for him. Here is Ardie holding all the loot before we presented it to Dad.
Don't you want to go fishing with this stylin' guy!?!
Dad put on a whole fashion show for us, poses and all. :)
Happy Father's Day to all you marvellous men in my life: Dad, Dad Kilistoff, Lincoln, Kent, James, Spencer, Mark, Kevin, Adam, Jason, Alex, Larry, and David. We don't properly express our gratitude, love and respect for each of you. Know that you are loved.

Yes! New clothes! Love. Love. Love it!
Sparkling Hills looks very nice! Well deserved. Also those roasts inspire me.
