To die for

This beautiful creation has become an obsession. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has perfected the candied apple. They have every imaginable concoction... apple pie, lemon meringue pie, almond joy, worms in dirt, etc, etc, etc.  My figure and budget are glad that the nearest store is 45 mins away.

On our trip...

Rachel... you are going to LOVE this!
We went to our old stomping grounds while in Vancouver. This is were we used to live for the first 2 years of marriage while Ryan slaved away at earning his BSc in biochemistry.

Our first apartment had an incredible view of English Bay.

The hospital where Joseph was born.

Our luxurious townhouse! :) This was the campus family housing for the "afforable" price of $950 a month!  Do we ever have it good now.
And... our first apartment. We were right on the top floor, except there was a study floor above us.  Top window on the left.

Those were great days that have led us to these even greater days. We will always have fond memories of UBC and the beginnings of our family.

Weekend Away!

Last weekend Ryan and I (and Greta) had a romantic getaway in Vancouver. Ryan attended dental conferences while Greta and I shopped with good friends.
We had an amazing room with an amazing view. Because we didn't book our room through the Dental Conference we were upgraded. Walk in closet, the coolest bathroom door and ...

... TWO DOUBLE BEDS!?!

Greta enjoying  french fries at Memphis Blues! MMmmmmm!

Thursday evening we went on a dinner cruise courtesy of our accountant. So fun and absolutely delicious food, great company and again, amazing views.

The U of S Dental School crew!

Ryan and the office crew!

The big highlight for Ryan was going to a Canucks game. It was hard to choose out of the 50 photos he took which one to post. I figured that this was good enough.

Joseph and Edwin with their souvenirs of our trip.  Thank you to Kent and Gabe for taking such good care of our darling boys.

Little Spring Flower!

I just couldn't stop taking pictures of Greta yesterday before church.  Next week she'll be 11 months!  We sure love our little flower.
