Mid-July, the kids and I went on a LONG road trip. We headed to Surrey to visit Ryan's grandma.
I took the kids to the house that Ryan grew up in.
And the house that we lived in with Ryan's parents for 6 months.
We went down to White Rock beach to play and skimboard.
Then we drove to Bellevue to my sister Maria's place. We checked out the Lego store ...
and Build-a-Bear.
We went to the King Tut Exhibit at the Science Center.
Then we drove to Utah to visit my family there. It had been almost 4 years since I had some of my nieces and nephews!
My parents were visiting as well and we all got to meet Cache...the first great grandchild!
Ashley showed us all the fun places to visit, like Liberty Park.
We love spending time with our cousins!
Jen's neighbours let us crash their pool.
We even made the trip out to Eagle Mountain to visit Lincoln. He put my boys straight to work :)
We hit up more parks and pools with Auntie Ashley.
Greta and Buddy became fast friends.
We had a free lunch at the park.
Hogle Zoo was amazing and HOT!
I was even able to catch up with a dear, old friend(she's not old... we've just known each other for a long time) and her kids.

Your so brave to drive so far! It looked fun and you look smokin' in the slide pictures.
These are great photos! You are a match for Ashley!
I'm so glad you guys came. Van won't stop talking about visiting his cousins again.
