Greta Turns TWO

Our baby is two today!

We love our Greta and had a great time celebrating HER! Since her birthday fell on Sunday we decided to party it up yesterday.

We went bowling...

Greta opened presents....

Ate cake...

The boys wanted to get Greta a fish for her gift. After bowling we all piled into the car and headed to the pet shop.
Meet our new fish...

Her name is Padme...

What!?! Hasn't this ever happened to you? You walk into a store to buy a fish and walk out with a puppy? No, well, that's because you aren't part of our family. Ryan, Joseph, Edwin and Greta are THRILLED! I can't say that I'm as enthused. I can't stop thinking that now we have a baby in the house for the next 16+ years. I'm so glad that Ryan is totally shouldering the load of training and cleaning up after the puppy.

Happy Birthday, Greta! You are our precious princess. We couldn't imagine how empty our family would be with out you!

Happy birthday Greta. That is the hairiest fish I've ever seen. I would hate to have to clean the tank after that thing took a poop.

Happy Birthday, beautiful Greta!

I laughed so hard that you ended up taking home a puppy - this is what would happen if we ever took our kids to the pet store! And a Star Wars name, too. Kills me!! Oh Sharon - you must let me know how it goes. I see a dog in our future too - and I'm scared(not really, but we know it's always mom who takes care of everything!!! :)

James wrote that comment up there in my name (just to clarify).

I think that dog is really cute. What kind of dog is it? More importantly, is she hypo-allergenic?

Padme is very cute. The first 1.5 years of a puppy is hard. After that it is easy. Just like a kid. Sort of.

Yah for Greta. Loved her curly hair too.

Loved seeing you. Wish I could see more of you!
