Weekend in Stanwood!

This past weekend Auntie Ardie and I packed the kids up and spent the weekend in Stanwood with James and Tracy! Just like my nephew Lucas, my kids "live for spending time with their cousins."
Friday, Ardie and I took turns in the temple while the kids enjoyed the temple grounds and a nearby park.  It was a gorgeous day and wonderful to be at the temple again.
Thank you James and Tracy for hosting all of us.
That evening Gabe and Kent arrived with their crew and we went to a Harlem Globetrotters game. The best part of the evening was when Edwin was terrified by a globe costume that "ate" a person wearing the opposing teams jersey. I was rather insensitive and couldn't stop laughing.

When Joe was only a year and a half he did the same thing to this little statue girl. They have a long standing relationship.  Good to see the passion is still there.

Our picnic on the temple grounds.

Greta didn't nap all day and this is how she was the whole time. Beaming!

Can't wait for our next visit!

You are amazing! The park adjacent to the temple is a fun place to visit but that was a long time to be there on a cool winter day. Love the smile on Greta's face. She is a temple girl.

It actually got up to 60 degrees that day, so I imagine it wasn't too bad especially since these kids are accustomed to running around in much cooler weather.

Lucas looks like he's trying to be a tough guy in every shot.

Let's see...what was I doing around the time that picture was taken? Oh right, removing the nerve from the tooth of a 5 year old. Fun times.

I love that little girl and wish we could have been there to see all of you.

How amazing are Lucas's faces in all of those shots?
